Hot Chocolate with Bitters

Our Coffee bitters go well in this recipe with the distinct notes of cacao (chocolate) in the bitters.
Recipe (makes 4 cups):
- 24 oz Whole milk
- 8 oz Half and half
- 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp Light brown sugar
- 1 tsp Blue Coast Morning Fog Bitters
Add the milk, half and half, bitters and sugar to a medium size pot and place on a stove top over medium high heat. Stir regularly and slowly heat up the milk mixture to just before boiling. DO NOT LET THE MILK BOIL. When the milk mixture is close to boiling, melt the chocolate chips into a smooth liquid chocolate.
Add the liquid chocolate to the milk mixture and stir continuously. You want the mixture to be nice and smooth.
Top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. ENJOY!
